GRAPHIC DESIGN    BRAND IDENTITY    MARKETING STRATEGY

services

The definition of a brand is “the name given to a product or service from a specific source.” Similar to a trademark, it is the name given to your business.

Giving your brand an identity provides visual attributes that help distinguish your product and service from the others – icons, color associations, product names or categories, etc.

brand identity

Graphic design has evolved from just printed materials and publications to being essential to the whole user experience. How the customer journey flows from one piece to another and knowing how to communicate your messaging visually. Yes, graphic design can still be the usual logo design and business cards, but it can include digital assets as well.

A name and idea is just the beginning. You need to find ways to get your business into the public. First, you need to create a plan and conduct market research to understand your target audience then do everything in your power to make your product or service visible to them. Then make sure they don’t forget about you and keep coming back or recommend you to friend.

hello...

dessy krystal germosen

Designer & Marketing Professional

My name is Dessy (not short for anything). I have always had a passion for the creative world. Whether it's drawing, painting, interior design, fashion, graphic, etc. I think I've dabbled in all forms of art except for ceramics. I received my Bachelor's in Graphic Design in 2010. I even had a teacher who balked at the idea of minoring in Studio Art. He said it was "ridiculous." But, because of that extra skill, I a better understanding of color theory and illustration design.

After a few years in the competitive "real world" in New York City, I decided that my Bachelor's degree was only going to get me so far. At the point, business school was an easy decision. I can easily design a logo and the print collateral for it, but what's the message and position? Who are you trying to attract with this? What are the guidelines? These were all questions that I had for clients but they couldn't answer me. I knew that I could help lead them in the right direction if I had a marketing background. In 2015, I graduated with my Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

I am now a marketing professional with almost 5 years of experience in a high-paced environment with a focus on brand and digital marketing. I have 10+ years of design experience. Both specialties grant me the ability to create and engage an active audience through visual technique and words.
